Sydney Tamil Manram Inc - Is a 35 years old organisation and does community activities all throughout the year. Sydney Tamil Manram was formed in the year of 1978 and working with the Australian Community for over 35 years. STM is instrumental in building Australian Tamil and other communities by spreading the rich culture of Tamils. If you love Tamil and want to work for the communities in Australia then please join STM. STM's executive members are very vibrant and are always willing to work for the community. It is a Registered Not for Profit organisation.

Any community has growing number of elderly population and Sydney Tamil Manram has a vision of organising cultural, social events to keep Australian Tamil community active and through these events the aging population in Tamil community has an opportunity to mingle with other younger people and older people and enhance their mental stability. An increase in the elderly population among communities, including some who need additional care, is resulting in increased pressure on the younger generation. Caring for seniors is quite unique, difficult and time consuming, and lack of services is leading to social isolation for the seniors.

Sydney Tamil Manram undertakes program to Tamil community groups. The programs are designed to promote independence, choices, social participation and a better quality of life for seniors in the community and broader Tamil community itself.
